It’s not a safe combination but the years relevant to this quick blog post; the Unsung Stories anthology 2084 is mailing out to those who backed the Kickstarter, and I received a wonderful limited edition hardback copy that I read through on Sunday, and thought was as close to perfect as stories can get. Every voice is distinct, every idea different, every take on Orwell’s 1984 provoking. I’m thrilled to have a story in its pages.
I took a photo of it to show off on Twitter and it looks… monolithic. More Arthur C Clarke than Orwell.
Also, I just wanted to mention that I’ll be in Peterborough at the end of September for Fantasycon – on the Saturday afternoon/Sunday, at least. I’m not on any panels or giving a reading or anything, but am happy to say hi or sign a book or two. Particularly my own books.
